The Laurel County Extension Office will be closed December 20th through the New Year Holiday. We will re-open January 3rd.

MAKE A HEALTH DIFFERENCE DAY

Laurel County...Make a Health Difference Day--October 23, 2010--11am-3pm. Activities will be held at the new Recreational Park on the grounds of Faith Assembly - located behind Cracker Barrel at Exit 41 Rte 75. What is 4-H?
4-H is a non-formal educational program for youth ages 9 to 19. Cloverbuds Club ages 4-8.

Youth Can Learn About...
Woodworking, computers, sewing, cooking, being a wise shpper, fashion, entertainment, weather, electricity, baby sitting, geology, photography, small engines, citizenship, home furnishings, veterinary science, entomology, gardening, creative crafts, food and nutrition, health, forestry, career exploration and a whole lot more!!!

Become A 4-H Volunteer...
There are many different roles volunteers can play, and volunteers can devote as little or as much time as they would like to the program. Any amount of contribution makes a big difference.
